Hope is a Flutter in the Soul

Hope is a flutter in the soul – that sacred place where divine presence dwells. It waits to be nurtured and then bursts forth with a new vision for yourself in the world.

It is a pure gift, always available to offer new vision and insight. When pain, suffering, and chaos are present, it sends us out into a world in need with the energy to make a difference.

When chaos in our world threatens my peace:

• I remind myself that every person and creature created by God has his divine presence dwelling within them and deserves my respect.
• I ask for peace, the peace that comes only when I’m connected to my inner spirit.

I’m blessed to be surrounded by people who are hopeful and loving, and I value their insights.

At times, I need to disconnect from social media and not be continually filled with the chaos but pray for those who are creating it.

At times, I just need to write down what is causing my unrest and turn that over to God.

I know my spirit – and all shall be well – because God is in everything.
