Luke 16:1-13.
“The person who is trustworthy in very small matters is also trustworthy in great ones.”
I like this statement in the Gospel of Luke. This makes me think that God is saying to us that nothing is too small a matter to think “Oh, I can cheat a little bit on this” I can “fudge” this answer on that. Do we not know that even big decisions and thoughts are made up of many small ones?
Another way to think, is that once we’re in the habit of cheating a bit then it seems logical or right (somehow OK) to keep doing things that way, even when you are in a place where you have to make a big decision or live a difficult path.
Please God, give me the vision and strength to always come to you with my thoughts and concerns. Let me know that you will help me see a clear way to be honest and trustworthy in great and small ways.
